my.Tattoos.com One of the newest projects I'm working on is the social media site: My.Tattoos.com (MyDot for short). This is another ongoing project, the proprietors of Tattoos.com wanted to create a community for hardcore tattoo enthusiasts where they can share information regarding tattoo conventions, their favourite artists, and about their own tattoos.
What I did:
  • Created (another) entire social media site in PHP from scratch: Login, signup/activation, photo albums, private messaging, friends system, tattoo convention tracker and "InkLinks".
  • Facebook Application Creation and Integration with InkLinks
  • Worked Closely with Designers and Artists to achive the desired look (using the Smarty template system)

MostValuable.com (Interpreting Service)

mostvaluable.com Most Valuable Interpreting Service gets almost all of their work from their web based quote system -- developed by me. The design is based almost entirely on a design the client created.

2HotnSexy.com

2HotnSexy.com *Warning: NSFW -- No Nudity, but some Adult Content*
While I worked at The Best Media, I was given the opportunity to develop a few sites for the owners. One of the sites they had me develop was 2HotnSexy.com, an adult entertainment directory. Start to finish, top to bottom, I coded the entire site from scratch, the only exception being the 'top sites' pages.
What I did:
  • Created an entire social media site in PHP from scratch: Login, signup/activation, listing creator/editor, database search, private messaging and blogs.
  • Lots of work with AJAX and RSS
  • Aggressive SEO techniques
  • Actively maintained the Linux based server (which hosts most of the other sites on this portfolio)

This is by far the largest project I've ever worked on to date.

SubmitGear.com

SubmitGear.com I did a lot of work for SubmitGear.com. The proprietor came to my employeer with an ASP based site and requested that we take over the hosting and port his application over to PHP. I was the sole developer on this project. Since the e-commerce backend was a custom developed solution for this site, porting from ASP to PHP was a breeze.
What I did:
  • Ported Custom ASP E-Commerce System to PHP
  • Sliced the look from the clients Photoshop PSD file
  • Designed Custom Link Exchange Backend

SalonAllureSpa.ca

salonallurespa.ca Salon Allure Spa was a pretty straight forward site. The client had design ideas, and content already prepared. Slicing their design was a snap, and putting together the rest of their site based on their brochures was a simple process.

Tattoos.com I work closesly with Tattoos.com, be it work with their sites, their clients sites, or their FreeBSD based servers. I ensure that it's all running smoothly.
I've done work on Tattoos.com clients pages: Tattoo Energy Magazine, Southern Ink Expsosure, and a couple others to name a few.
SanremoBakery.com SanremoBakery.com is a perfect example of a website based off of a flash template, then customized to meet the clients needs.
Marketing4Escorts.com Another example of a simple, nearly all static webpage. Design is by the client.
Liberal-Debutante.com This is a blogger whose site I optimized for index in Google. When I started her page was appearing to Google as a "known to spread badware" site, and a month after she recieves much new traffic from Google searches.
I've also helped with site backups and server migrations (from Typepad, to her own hosted .com domain).
AppleTreeBlog.com Another blogger who I've helped out with various minor tasks: backing databases up, minor customizations to Wordpress plugins and bug fixes.
GTAPunx.com GTAPunx.com was a site where fans of punk music could gather and discuss shows. I built a custom CMS and implemented a customized phpBB message board. This site is now down.
